Objective
  • The marketing strategy was to leverage the assets from the movie– dialogues, scenes and songs, and the videos taken during the promotion of the movie. The gist of the movie was based on the ‘mother of all scams’, Hemant Shah– a scamster who manipulated his way to staggering heights of success.

Challenge
  • There was a lot of entertaining content available based on Hemant Shah and his life, the challenge was to surpass through the clutter and highlight the edginess, uniqueness and thrill of The Big Bull.

Execution
  • To begin the promotion around the character ‘Hemant Shah’ we shot a few conceptualized videos with Abhishek Bachchan to highlight the smart saving characteristic calling it as 'Abhishek Bachat Tips' (Introduction, bachat tip 1, bachat tip 2, and more). This garnered us to reach 12K+ engagement and reach 293K+ viewers.

  • We conducted a Twitter campaign with the #AskTheBigBull and #TheBigBullWatchParty, on the day of launch where audience questions where individually answered by Abhishek Bachchan. This facilitated a stronger sense of intrigue, excitement and thrill among Abhishek Bachchan’s fans, adding to the movie’s marketing strategies fortifyingly.

  • To maintain strong sustenance around Ileana D’cruz character, conceptualized videos were shot such as candid conversations, daily motivation and this or that with Ileana D’Cruz that garnered 300K+ views, engaging 13K+ viewers.

  • As the movie builds around the strong personality of Hemant Shah and his tricky methods, The Big Bull Rules video was shot with the talent that highlighted the characteristic of Hemant suitable for the everyday audience. This video reached of 42K+ views on IG itself.
