Since the trailer launch, everyone has been waiting for the prison drama ‘Lucknow Central’ starring Farhan Akhtar, Diana Penty, Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy, Inaamulhaq and Rajesh Sharma. The film presents the story of a young man named Kishen Mohan who is imprisoned where he fulfills his passion for music. The film released on the 15^th of September, 2017 and has been attracting good reviews ever since.

What did we do?

We gave all the followers a Qaidi Number!

How we did it?

• We did an activity on Twitter where we gave ‘Qaidi number’ to the followers, i.e. every time someone followed Lucknow Central on Twitter they would receive DM with the Qaidi number.

• To amplify this, we ran a contest where the person who receives ‘Qaidi number’ of Gippy Grewal (Pali) will get a chance to meet him.

• We saw a jump in the followers once this activity started, in 2 days we received almost 400 followers.

What else did we do? – #MeriAazaadi Contest

• We did this activity on Independence Day, asking fans to share what aazaadi means to them

• We also did a build up to this contest by posting a video of Pali who is trying to escape from Lucknow Central jail from past 2 years and tries doing it this time again. At the end of the video, we asked if he will succeed this year.

As the film continues to reign on the big screen, we celebrate its ‘release’!
